Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid - 500ml (2 Pack)

A sugar free antacid for the treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion, which may occur, for example, following meals or during pregnancy. Suitable for Adults and children over 12 years. How to use For oral use. Shake well before use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10-20 ml (two to four 5 ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day. See leaflet for further information. This product is sugar free. You can take this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Hazards and Cautions Do not take this product if: You know you are allergic to any of the ingredients as very rarely difficulty in breathing and skin rashes have occurred (see label for a full list of ingredients). Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children. Storage Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate. Precautions This is a medicine; Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist Seek advice before using if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, breastfeeding or if you suffer from allergies. Ingredients Active Ingredients: Each 5 ml of this medicine contains 133.5 mg Sodium Bicarbonate, 250 mg Sodium Alginate, 80 mg Calcium Carbonate. Also contains: carbomer, sodium hydroxide, saccharin sodium, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E214), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), butyl parahydroxybenzoate, isopropyl alcohol, peppermint oil, purified water.

There are no known side effects of Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid, however, if you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

• Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

Warnings

• Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Using/taking other medicines

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medications including ones obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

This medication can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine.

Always take Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.
