How does Ibuprofen 400mg work?
Ibuprofen works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which reduces the production of prostaglandins, chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation.

How should I take Ibuprofen 400mg tablets?
Adults and children over 12: Take 1 tablet up to 3 times a day with water, preferably with or after food.
Do not take more than 3 tablets in 24 hours.

Are there any side effects?
Common side effects may include:
Nausea and vomiting
Diarrhea, gas, bloating, constipation
Indigestion
Increased risk of heart attack or stroke
Hypertension
Seek emergency medical attention for signs of a severe allergic reaction, such as swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties, or loss of consciousness.

• Do not take Ibuprofen if you have:

  • Liver, kidney, or heart disease
  • Peptic ulcer
