Warnings: Always read the label. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if: You have Raynaud's phenomenon or diabetes, as paracetamol may require special consideration. You suffer from severe renal or hepatic impairment, as paracetamol might need to be adjusted or monitored. You have a history of non-cirrhotic alcoholic liver disease, which increases the risk of paracetamol overdose. You are currently taking other paracetamol-containing products to avoid excessive intake. You suspect an overdose, as immediate medical attention is crucial due to the risk of delayed liver damage. You have cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, closed-angle glaucoma, or hypertension, as phenylephrine may affect these conditions. You have hereditary conditions like fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency, as this medicine might be unsuitable. You have phenylketonuria (PKU), due to the aspartame content in the sachets. You are on a low salt diet, considering the significant sodium content in the medicine. You are using flucloxacillin or have conditions like severe renal impairment, sepsis, malnutrition, or chronic alcoholism, which can increase the risk of metabolic acidosis when combined with paracetamol.
Contraindications: Do not take this medicine if: You are allergic to any ingredient (see section 6 for further information) You have a serious heart condition You have high blood pressure (hypertension) or an overactive thyroid You are taking or have taken within the last 14 days a medicine called a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), usually used to treat depression. You are taking other sympathomimetic decongestants You have an enlarged prostate You have Phaeochromocytoma You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Side Effects: Blood and Lymphatic System Disorders: Not known - Thrombocytopenia, leucopenia, pancytopenia, neutropenia, agranulocytosis. Immune System Disorders: Not known - Hypersensitivity. Gastrointestinal Disorders: Not known - Abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting. Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue Disorders: Very rare - Cases of serious skin reactions have been reported. Not known - Skin rash. Renal and Urinary Disorders: Not known - Urinary retention.

Directions: For adults, the elderly, and children 16 years and over, dissolve one sachet in a mug of hot, but not boiling, water by stirring. Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey, or your usual sweetener if preferred. The dose may be repeated every 4-6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed the maximum of 4 sachets in 24 hours.
