Benylin Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief tablets provide fast relief from cold and flu symptoms. The pack contains white daytime tablets and blue nighttime tablets, each tailored to target specific symptoms throughout the day and night.

What are Benylin Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief tablets used for? These tablets are used to relieve symptoms of cold and flu, including pain, fever, nasal congestion, and aiding restful sleep.

How do Benylin Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief tablets work?

  • Daytime tablets: Contain paracetamol for pain and fever relief.
  • Nighttime tablets: Contain pseudoephedrine for nasal decongestion and diphenhydramine, an antihistamine, to help you sleep.

What is the recommended dosage?

Adults and children over 12: Take 1 white tablet every 4-6 hours (up to 3 times a day) and 1 blue tablet at night. Do not exceed 3 white tablets in 24 hours.

Can children use these tablets? No, these tablets are not suitable for children under 12 years.

Can I use these tablets if I am pregnant or breastfeeding? Consult your doctor before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can these tablets cause drowsiness? The blue nighttime tablets may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

When should this product not be used? Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to any ingredients.
  • Have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, severe kidney problems, or pheochromocytoma.
  • Are taking certain medications like MAOIs or beta-blockers.

What are the possible side effects? Common side effects include headache, drowsiness, difficulty sleeping, nervousness, dizziness, dry mouth, thickened mucus, nausea, blurred vision, and unusual weakness. Seek emergency medical attention if you experience severe allergic reactions.

Do not use if you have certain medical conditions or are taking specific medications.

Possible side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, and others. Report any side effects to your doctor or via the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
