Benylin Infant Cough Syrup - 125ml

Benylin Infant’s Cough Syrup helps relieve the effects of a cough in children aged 3 months to 5 years. The active ingredient, glycerol, is a lubricant that soothes the mouth and throat, reducing the effects of a dry, tickly cough.

What causes a dry, tickly cough?
A dry, tickly cough can be caused by:

• Infections like colds or the flu
• Irritation in the mouth and throat
• Allergies
• Smoke inhalation
• Heartburn

Unlike mucus coughs, dry coughs do not produce phlegm.

Who is this Benylin medicine suitable for?
This medicine is suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years. It should not be used by children allergic to any ingredients or those with a sugar intolerance. Adults and older children should seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist.

Diarrhoea (rare)

Children aged 3 months to 1 year: 5ml, 3-4 times a day.

Children aged 1-5 years: 10ml, 3-4 times a day. If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
