Eurax HC Cream – 15g

Eurax HC Cream is a mild hydrocortisone cream designed to reduce itching and inflammation caused by various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, allergic reactions, insect bites, and prickly heat rash. This non-greasy formula helps break the itch-scratch cycle, providing relief for up to 10 hours.

What is Eurax HC Cream used for? Eurax HC Cream is used to alleviate itching and inflammation caused by skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, allergic reactions, insect bites, and prickly heat rash.

How does Eurax HC Cream work? It contains hydrocortisone (0.25%), a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, and crotamiton (10%), which relieves itching and prevents scratching, thus reducing further skin damage and secondary infections.

Can I use this product if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding? You should not use Eurax HC Cream during pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.

How should I use Eurax HC Cream? Apply a small amount to the affected area twice a day. Do not cover treated areas with dressings or bandages. If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.

When should Eurax HC Cream not be used? Do not use on children under 10 years old, if you are allergic to any ingredients, or on weeping or damaged skin, including open wounds. Avoid using if you have cold sores, acne, or athlete’s foot.

Are there any side effects? Possible side effects include irritation at the application site, such as burning, itching, contact dermatitis, or rash. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if you experience these or other side effects.

Not suitable for: Children under 10, pregnant or breastfeeding women unless advised by a doctor, or those allergic to the ingredients.

Avoid contact with: Eyes, mouth, genitals, anus, and other sensitive areas.

Do not apply to: Weeping or damaged skin, especially open wounds.

If symptoms worsen or persist, seek medical advice. Store below 25°C and keep out of sight and reach of children. Read the included leaflet carefully before use.
