Dulcolax Adult Laxative 5mg - 20 Tablets

Dulcolax Tablets have a dual action as they work in two ways to relieve constipation:

• They deliver gentle overnight relief by stimulating the muscles of the bowel.
• They help your body recognize and respond to the urge to defecate.

As a result, Dulcolax Tablets provide a predictable and reliable outcome.

Should not be used in:

• Children or adolescents under the age of 18 years.
• If laxatives are needed for more than 5 days in a row or if you have persistent abdominal pain, consult your doctor.
• Do not take if you have an intestinal obstruction, an inflammatory gastrointestinal disorder, or severe dehydration, or if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Please note that it is very important to avoid drinking milk or an antacid product within one hour of taking Dulcolax tablets. These liquids are alkaline and can dissolve the comfort coating too early. For the same reason, Dulcolax Tablets should never be crushed or chewed before swallowing, otherwise the comfort coating is not effective anymore.

Adults:

• Take 1 or 2 tablets daily before bedtime, or as directed by your doctor.
• If you have not used Dulcolax before, start with 1 tablet and increase to 2 if necessary.
• Swallow tablets whole with water.

Should not be used in children or adolescents under the age of 18 years.
Do not take milk or antacids within one hour of taking Dulcolax tablets.
