Nasacort Allergy Relief Nasal Spray is designed to treat nasal symptoms of hay fever and other allergies, such as sneezing, itching, and a blocked or runny nose. Suitable for adults over 18, it reduces nasal inflammation and provides effective relief from allergic reactions.

What is Nasacort nasal spray used for? Nasacort is used to treat nasal symptoms of hay fever and other allergies, including sneezing, itching, and congestion.

Why do I get a blocked and runny nose during an allergic reaction? Allergic reactions cause your body to release histamine, leading to symptoms like a runny or blocked nose, sneezing, and itching to expel allergens such as pollen, pet fur, or dust.

How does the triamcinolone in Nasacort work? Triamcinolone acetonide, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation in the nasal passages, alleviating allergy symptoms by decreasing swelling and irritation.

Can I use Nasacort with other allergy medications? Consult your doctor before using Nasacort with other medications, especially HIV medications like ritonavir and cobicistat, to avoid potential interactions.

Can I use Nasacort if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding? Consult your doctor before using Nasacort if you are pregnant or breastfeeding to ensure it is safe for you and your baby.

Can I drive after using Nasacort? Nasacort typically does not affect driving ability, but if you experience dizziness or tiredness, avoid driving or using machinery until symptoms pass.

Not suitable for children under 18.

Avoid use if allergic to triamcinolone acetonide or other ingredients.

Consult a doctor if you have untreated nasal infections, recent nasal surgery, glaucoma, cataracts, or if transferring from steroid injections/tablets.

Do not use for more than 3 months without medical advice.

Blow your nose gently before use.

Shake the bottle well.

Spray twice in each nostril once a day.
