Calpol Original Infant Suspension – 200ml

Calpol Infant is a liquid medicine designed to relieve pain and fever in children aged 2 months to 6 years. It contains paracetamol and comes with an easy-to-use syringe, making it safe and simple to administer to young children.

What happens when my child has a cold? Common symptoms include headaches, raised temperature, muscle aches, blocked or runny nose, coughs, sneezes, and sore throat.

How will Calpol Infant relieve my child’s pain and fever? Calpol Infant contains paracetamol, a painkiller that reduces fever and eases pain.

Can I give this medicine to my child if they’re taking other medication? Consult a doctor or our pharmacist before giving Calpol Infant if your child is taking other medications, especially those containing paracetamol, metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, anticoagulants, or anticonvulsants.

Do not use if:

• Your child is under 2 months old.
• Your child weighs less than 4kg (2-3 months).
• Your child was born before 37 weeks.
• Your child is allergic to any ingredients.

Side effects may include:

• Allergic reactions (swelling, difficulty breathing)
• Unusual tiredness
• Unexpected bruising or bleeding
• Increased susceptibility to infections
• Serious skin reactions

If side effects occur, stop use and consult a doctor immediately.

Administration Instructions:

1. Shake well before use.
2. Attach the syringe to the bottle.
3. Measure the correct dose:
   • 2–3 months (4kg+): 2.5ml
   • 3–6 months: 2.5ml
   • 6–24 months: 5ml
   • 2–4 years: 7.5ml
   • 4–6 years: 10ml
4. Administer to the child by placing the syringe against the cheek and releasing the medicine gently.
5. Clean the syringe after each use.
