A dry cough can be caused by respiratory infections, allergies, irritants like dust or smoke, or underlying conditions such as asthma or COPD.

How can Robitussin treat a dry cough?
Dextromethorphan, the active ingredient in Robitussin, provides effective relief from persistent dry coughs by suppressing the cough reflex.

Do not use if:

• Allergic to any ingredients.
• Taking or have recently taken MAOIs, SSRIs, or other medications for depression, psychiatric conditions, or Parkinson's disease.

Consult your doctor if:

• You have a long-term cough, asthma, liver problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible side effects:

• Allergic reactions (itchy skin, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat).
• Stomach upset.
• Dizziness, drowsiness, mental confusion.

Adults and children over 12: Take 10ml up to 4 times daily, as required.
