What is Benylin Mucus Cough Relief Night Syrup?
Benylin Mucus Cough Relief Night Syrup is a nighttime treatment for mucus coughs containing diphenhydramine (antihistamine), guaifenesin (expectorant), and levomenthol (decongestant).

What causes a mucus cough?
A mucus cough is caused by mucus and phlegm clogging the airways and lungs, often due to infections like colds or the flu.

Who is this medicine suitable for?
This syrup is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. It should not be used by those allergic to its ingredients or those taking MAOIs.

Can pregnant or breastfeeding women use this medicine?
Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• Upset stomach
• Nausea or vomiting

Stop use and consult a doctor if side effects occur. Report side effects via the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Important information:

• Do not use if allergic to any ingredients or taking MAOIs.
• Consult a doctor or our pharmacist if taking other medications.

Take 10ml (two 5ml spoonfuls) before bedtime, then 10ml every six hours as needed, up to four times a day. Do not exceed four doses in a 24-hour period.
