Robitussin Mucus Cough Congestion Relief Medicine is designed to provide relief for mucus coughs. It contains two active ingredients: guaifenesin, an expectorant that loosens mucus in the chest, throat, and nose, and pseudoephedrine, an antihistamine that reduces symptoms associated with colds, flu, and allergies.

What causes a mucus cough?
A mucus cough is caused by infections such as colds or the flu, leading to increased mucus production. The body responds with a cough to expel the mucus from the chest, throat, and nose.

Who is this medicine suitable for?
This medicine is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. Do not use if allergic to the ingredients, have heart disease, overactive thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes, difficulty passing urine, or have used MAOIs in the last 14 days.

Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this medication?
Consult a medical professional before using this medication if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not use if:

• Allergic to ingredients
• Suffering from heart disease, overactive thyroid, glaucoma, diabetes, difficulty passing urine
• Used MAOIs in the last 14 days

Take 10ml up to four times a day using a spoon. Do not exceed four doses a day. If symptoms persist after a week, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
