Battling sleeplessness? Then you know why a good night's rest is not to be sneezed at. These tablets contain an antihistamine, mostly used to help treat hay fever, but that also makes you feel drowsy, which helps you drift off into restful sleep

Nytol One-A-Night Tablets are designed to induce sleepiness or drowsiness soon after taking so do not drive or operate machinery.

Do not drink alcohol while taking Nytol One-A-Night Tablets.

If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine.

Nytol One-A-Night Tablets should not be used in the elderly with confusion.

If your sleeping difficulties persist, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Nytol One-A-Night Tablets may get less effective if you take them continuously.

Do not take Nytol One-A-Night Tablets if you:

  • Are allergic to diphenhydramine or any of the other ingredients in the tablets.
  • Have an obstruction in the stomach or gut (for example, because of an ulcer).
  • Are under 16 years of age.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Nytol One-A-Night Tablets if you:

  • Have asthma, bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Have narrow angle glaucoma (a form of raised pressure in the eye).
  • Have an enlarged prostate or urinary retention.
  • Have moderate to severe liver or kidney disease.
  • Have myasthenia gravis, epilepsy or seizure disorders.
  • Are taking any other medicines.

Like all medicines, Nytol One-A-Night can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The most common side effects include tiredness, drowsiness, reduced attention, unsteadiness, dizziness or a dry mouth, allergic reactions (such as rash, shortness of breath and swelling), blurred vision, palpitations (feeling your heart beat), or irregular heartbeat, muscle twitching, convulsions, headache or pins and needles, also nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), thicker bronchial mucus, and difficulty passing urine.

These tablets are suitable for use by adults and children over 16 years.

Swallow one or two tablets with water 20 minutes before you go to bed.

Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do not give to children under 16 years of age.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this product after the expiration date printed on the packaging has passed.

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 25 mg, Anhydrous lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, stearic acid and silicon dioxide.
