Tadalafil vs Sildenafil
Both Tadalafil (generic for Cialis®) and Sildenafil (generic for Viagra®) work to help you get it up and keep it up, but there are differences. For starters, you always have to "time" your sex after taking Sildenafil — not so with Tadalafil. Tadalafil works for longer (up to 36 hours) compared with Sildenafil (2 to 4 hours). Tadalafil can be taken as an "as-needed" tablet before sex (usually 10mg or 20mg), or as a once daily tablet for more spontaneous sex (usually 2.5mg or 5mg). Tadalafil can be taken on a full stomach unlike Sildenafil, which is not as effective on a full stomach (e.g. delayed by 60 minutes with a high-fat meal).
