Are you aware that during treatment for bacterial vaginosis, it is recommended to avoid vaginal douching, antiseptics, bubble baths, shampoos or strong detergents in the bath? Showering is preferred over baths, and using only water and mild, unscented soap for washing the genital area is advised.
