This medication should be started 3 days before the expected onset of menstruation. A normal period should occur 2-3 days after stopping this medication
Taking hormone medication such as norethisterone can slightly increase your risk of experiencing a blood clot. You should stay aware of the symptoms of blood clots and if you suspect you are having one, please seek medical help immediately
This medication does not act as a contraceptive when being used for period delay. You should use other contraceptive methods, such as using condoms
