Calpol SixPlus Sugar Free Strawberry Suspension – 200ml

Calpol Six Plus Suspension is a sugar-free, strawberry-flavoured liquid medicine designed to relieve pain and fever in children aged 6 years and older. It contains paracetamol and comes with a syringe for easy administration.

How do I know if my child has a cold? Symptoms include blocked or runny nose, headaches, other aches and pains, fever or high temperature, sneezing, coughs, and sore throat.

How will this product help to relieve my child’s headaches or cold? Calpol Six Plus Suspension contains paracetamol, which relieves pain and reduces fever, helping to alleviate symptoms of cold and flu.

Can I give this medicine to my child if they’re taking other medication? Consult a doctor or our pharmacist if your child is taking other medications, especially those containing paracetamol, metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, or blood thinners.

Do not use if:

• The child is under 6 years old.
• The child is allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients.
• The child has severe liver or kidney problems.
• The child is taking other paracetamol-containing medicines.

Side effects may include:

• Allergic reactions (swelling, difficulty swallowing, wheezing)
• Unusual tiredness
• Unexpected bruising or bleeding
• Increased susceptibility to infections
• Serious skin reactions (skin reddening, blisters, rash)

If side effects occur, stop use and consult a doctor immediately.

Store below 25°C, out of sight and reach of children. Read the included leaflet carefully before use.

Administration Instructions:

1. Shake the bottle for 10 seconds.
2. Attach the syringe securely.
3. Turn the bottle upside down and fill the syringe with the correct dose.
4. Administer the medicine by placing the syringe against the child’s cheek and pressing the plunger gently.
5. Clean the syringe after each use.

Dosage:

• 6–8 years: 5 ml (1 x 5 ml syringe)
• 8–10 years: 7.5 ml (1 x 5 ml and 1 x 2.5 ml syringe)
• 10–12 years: 10 ml (2 x 5 ml syringe)
• 12–16 years: 10–15 ml (2 x 5 ml and 1 x 2.5 ml syringe or 3 x 5 ml syringe)

Active ingredient: Paracetamol 250 mg per 5 ml.
