Piriton Syrup – 150ml

Piriton Syrup provides rapid relief from hay fever, skin allergies, food allergies, and insect bites. It contains chlorphenamine maleate, an antihistamine that blocks histamine production to alleviate allergic reactions.

How does Piriton Syrup work? Piriton Syrup inhibits histamine, reducing symptoms like sneezing, itching, and rashes caused by allergies.

Can I drive after taking Piriton Syrup? It may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.

Can I take Piriton Syrup with other medications? Consult your doctor if taking other medications, especially MAOIs, other antihistamines, phenytoin, anxiety medications, or sleep aids.

Can I take Piriton Syrup if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding? Consult your doctor before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Piriton Syrup may not be suitable for everyone. Do not use if allergic to any ingredients. Consult a doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, enlarged prostate, liver or kidney disease, bronchitis, asthma, bronchiectasis, or a sugar intolerance.

Do not combine with MAOIs, other antihistamines, or certain epilepsy, anxiety, or sleep medications. Consult your doctor if unsure.

Age Restrictions: Not suitable for children under 12 months old.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Seek medical advice before using if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Driving and Operating Machinery: May cause drowsiness or fatigue; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.

Side Effects: Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, and fatigue. Serious side effects include severe allergic reactions and breathing difficulties. Seek medical attention if severe side effects occur.

Storage Information: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from children. Do not use past the expiry date.

Children 1-2 years: 2.5ml twice daily (max 5ml)

Children 2-6 years: 2.5ml every 4-6 hours (max 15ml)

Children 6-12 years: 5ml every 4-6 hours (max 30ml)

Adults and children over 12: 10ml every 4-6 hours (max 60ml)

Adults over 65: 10ml every 4-6 hours (max 30ml)

Follow the dosage instructions precisely. Do not use for more than 14 days without medical advice.
