Your GP & switching

Your GP relationship doesn't change when your pharmacy does. Here's exactly what stays the same, what we handle, and how leaving works if you ever want to.

Your GP stays in charge of your care

Your GP stays in charge of your care

We are your pharmacy, not your prescriber. Your GP decides what you take, runs your medication reviews, and approves every repeat before we can dispense.

Stays with your GP surgery

  • Your full medical record
  • Prescribing decisions & reviews
  • Approving every repeat
  • Urgent prescriptions, any time

What we hold as your pharmacy

  • Your prescriptions & dispensing history
  • Your exemption status
  • Your delivery details & preferences
  • A team you can actually call

Ordering for someone else

Ordering for someone else

Manage prescriptions for family or people you care for from one account, with their consent — each person keeps their own GP, nomination and exemption. Call us and we’ll set linked profiles up properly.

Medicine shortages, handled honestly

National shortages happen and no pharmacy is immune. We tell you at the point of ordering — not after you've waited a week — and our prescribers contact your GP about a clinically appropriate alternative.

Switching back — no notice, no questions

1
Tell any pharmacy you'd like to nominate them — or tell your GP surgery
2
It takes effect from your very next prescription
3
Your dispensing history with us stays available in your account

Controlled medicines

Schedule 2 & 3 medicines (some strong painkillers, ADHD medication, others) carry extra legal rules: prescriptions valid 28 days, limited quantities, always signed-for delivery.
